Your mate is staying 2 nights?? More like 3.5 weeks!

So Sam does it again…
Sams friend just came back from overseas and asked if he could stay TWO nights.. of course the household said yes, 2 nights.. thats definitely doable…2 nights soon became a week, then 2 weeks, then 3.5 weeks! Sams friend Jon was looking for share accommodation and was going to see various properties but was being a tad too fussy! He sponged off us for the 3.5 weeks, didn’t buy toilet paper, or anything… but proceeded to boast about how much $$ he had which enabled him to not have to work for a few months. So every morning id go to work, Jon would be sitting in the loungeroom watching our tv, and every night id come home and who was in the loungeroom?? Jon… and usually Sam was right there with him, both sitting at the coffee table with their laptops out, hogging the tv room all night.
Then Jon alerted us to the fact that he was a fabulous pokies player… he was gifted.. lol.. he boasted about having won about $5000 since he started staying with us, at one stage throwing his winnings around the loungeroom…way to rub it in out faces!! But still… no toilet paper was purchased…
Anyway the day before he finally left, after bragging about his latest pokies win, he said he wanted to take us all out to dinner to say thanks.. i thought.. finally hes doing something nice for us… but it promptly turned from descriptions of a nice dinner to, “how about we grab some take away pizzas and a bottle of cheap champagne?” LOL.. i hope he chokes on his pizza!!! No thanks!

Dear god… the resemblance is shocking.

Sam mentioned to me not long ago that his brother, Jon, would be visiting on the following day. I said: ” That’s nice, how long for? ”

“A month”

I literally had no words. My boyfriend who shares my room (Who pays rent and bills, before you start wondering!) suggested that we divide the bills 4 ways seeing as he was going to be staying so long. Sam did not seem pleased.

Before long, they had changed the arrangements so that Jon would stay for only one week, and said that because it was for only one week there was no point to split bills 4 ways. We didn’t want to make a fuss so agreed.

Jon didn’t have a job, and hogged the living room for 9 days straight, day and night, playing the Xbox, laptop, listening to the Hifi and cooking all at the same time. Electricity usage must have tripled in the 9 days that he was there.

I promised myself there and then that if he was going to stay again, I would move out. One Sam was enough but two made me completely miserable.
