Idle and Inconsiderate

images1.jpg

This morning we found out that we have an rental inspection tomorrow. Luckily i snooped at a letter on the kitchen bench and saw the notice from the agent, as nobody else had read it. So tonight we all get home from work, and as per usual Sam is sitting at the computer typing like a madman. Meg and i start cleaning, Sam doesnt budge from the computer. Meg then asks Sam if he could wipe the surfaces in the bathroom. Sams Response: “i cleaned recently” and he stayed glued to the computer. I then stated that I too had done a clean recently and that it wasnt my turn but that wasnt stopping me lending a hand. I actually stupidly thought he would then get up and help, but no….

this fell on deaf ears….

He stayed at the computer for a bit longer as we cleaned around him (literally!!), he then went to his room, got changed and then went out for the evening.

I honestly dont know why his selfishness continues to surprise me.. but it honestly does!

For example last weekend i mentioned that the kitchen floor was a feral mess as it hadnt been cleaned since i last did it. (god knows why i needed to mention it as it was blatantly obvious) A day or so later he moved the mop and bucket inside, and then they sat in the kitchen for about 4 days, and then were moved outside again… no mopping involved!

Sam is fast becoming my pet hate!

im sorry but i have to add to your selfish comment with a few more:

1. our housemates watch their computer with the sound on and no earphones while we are watching tv… sometimes they watch it with the sound system plugged in and in another language in the living room while im in the house .. im sorry but if u have a computer wear the f****** earphones!!!!!

2. housemates telling you off for not cleaning the kitchen then leaving their shit all over the kitchen which is the reason why you didnt clean it in the first place to make a point..

3. housemates who expect you to sit outside in the living room all day and night otherwise your being antisocial meanwhile they are watching there bloody computer with no earphones!

I have a selfish, inconsiderate slob of a housemate called Sam, as well!!
He leaves the flat for days on end with his crap all over the kitchen and living room.
He has not swept, hoovered or mopped anything in the 6 months we have shared an apartment.

He is clumsy and spills stuff everywhere and doesn’t clean it up. He is completely oblivious to the mess he causes.

He leaves the house unlocked, lights, telly, xbox, even the gas hob on!!!

He has slammed the front door so hard that the plastering is coming off of the wall all around the frame of the door.

I politely asked him to clean up his stuff in the kitchen and he had the cheek of saying ” what stuff” and proceeding to make me physically point out every single item he needed to wash, as if he didn’t know that every single thing in the kitchen was left out by him!!!!!

On top of everything else, he is insanely loud, skives work whenever he can’t get a lift so he doesnt have to endure 25 minute walk, and yesterday i discovered he hadn’t paid the bills that I gave him £250 for!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot stand the guy any longer, thankfully I am leaving soon but I really pity his next victim.

wow that’s some crazy housemate troubles…relieved I’m not the only one.

I’ve got housemates, a couple, who are exceedingly wasteful in electricity and water use, my electricity bill tripled when they moved in! They’ll have their computers, lights, heater, stoves, oven on 24/7, who really need to cook for 4 hours a day everyday and hog the kitchen so no one else can use it? The guy just sits at home at the computer all day cos he’s unemployed, he boils a full kettle at least 10 times a day, it’s wonder why his bladder hasn’t exploded yet. They water their pitiful pot-plants when it just rained and the plant is obviously dying from too much water. Whenever they wash their dishes it’s like an extra person having a 45min shower.

Clean dishes aside, they barely help with the normal cleaning or even the inspection, the place became a mess when they and their crap moved in, and for the once that they cleaned the kitchen, they started boasting about how they always cleaned and I haven’t – when it’s because I gave up cleaning after them after 2 weeks!

They’re also very unreliable when it comes to safety in the house. Small things like power switches – who in their right mind leaves cardboard boxes stacked on TOP of a switchboard?! they got really ‘offended’ when I mentioned once that their food might be burning because of the burning smell coming from it, so from them on I’m not allowed to say anything. And then they almost burnt down the house one day because they left the stove on with food when they went out!

The list doesn’t end here, but it’s way too long to go through it all. They’re definitely my pet hate at the moment!

I have asked them to leave now, but it’s a pain in the back living with them and their zombie face while they’re still looking for a new place to move to. They think they have a right to be angry, but I’m angrier. I’m counting the days and holding back from the urge to boot their stuff out and change the locks….

Great recommendation and really true. Probably the most vital things bloggers, or any enterprise, can do is attempt to not supply up. Even when occasions are robust it’s important to be there on your readers and customers as a result they are going to remember you in a constructive mild once things get higher and you would possibly rewarded on your efforts.
